Bio

Mars (he/they) is an emerging writer, director and multi-hyphenate who seeks to center the inherent humanity of art. Hailing from Philly, he’s equal parts cheese and whiz. With experience spanning theater, film, music, writing, new media, and community engagement, he brings a varied toolkit and unmatched enthusiasm for experimentation to each field. They love to make genre-defying work that brings together communities from diverse backgrounds behind the scenes and in the audience, with a particular focus on queer and trans experience and expression. Accessibility and education are cornerstones of his personal and professional practice.
